Kevin trained as an actor with The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, then studied singing at The Royal Academy of Music and Opera School, London. He’s a multi-faceted performer and theatre maker with a thirty-year career covering a broad range of disciplines: from classical and contemporary theatre and opera, to award-winning music theatre productions; from medieval and renaissance ensembles, to experimental theater and performance art; it also includes film, TV,  session singing and voice overs.

He’s worked with Oscar-winning directors Sam Mendes (in “Cabaret” and “Assassins”) and Mike Leigh (in “Topsy-Turvy“) and with eminent conductors Maurizio Polini, Gianandrea Gavazzeni, Bassem Akiki, Richard Eggar. He has specialised in devising and performing new inter-disciplinary theatre and music works, with ensembles such as Studio Minailo, Rosa Ensemble, Opera Circus, Impropera, and The David Glass Ensemble.
As well as extensive international work, he’s performed at most of the UK’s leading theatres including The National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe, Young Vic, ICA, Donmar Warehouse, Barbican, South Bank Centre, Manchester Royal Exchange, Bristol Old Vic, Birmingham Rep, Liverpool Everyman.

Recently, Kevin has been working with contemporary composers such as Anat Spiegel (in ‘Before Present‘ for Dutch National Opera/Amsterdam Dance Event; and ‘Medulla’ (Bjork/Spiegel), at La Monnaie/De Munt, Brussels)
Merlijn Twaalfhoven (‘The Air We Breathe’ at Maassilo, Operadagen Rotterdam / Paradiso Amsterdam; and ‘Resonance‘, Muziekgebouw aan t’Ij Amsterdam / Domkerk Utrecht)
Esmée Olthuis & Albert van Veenendaal (‘Sophia’s Passie‘ at The Korzo Theater Den Haag / Bethanienklooster Amsterdam)
Daniel Cross (‘Akasha‘ at Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Operadagen Rotterdam / Tivoli Vredenburg Utrecht) and
Paul Oomen, for whom Kevin created the title role in ‘Nikola‘ – an epic techno opera in the groundbreaking ‘4DSOUND’ System, developed with Ableton Live (at Theater de Spiegel, Voiz Festival, Zwolle / Muziekgebouw aan t’Ij Amsterdam).
With English composer Jonathan Cooper, Kevin has recorded five albums of original songs.

Kevin has been visiting lecturer in theatre-making and performance at The University of London, Goldsmith’s College, The Central School of Speech & Drama (London), and in the Netherlands for DASarts (Academy of Theatre and Dance, Amsterdam University of the Arts), and The Walter Maas Huis.
He has a degree in philosophy and psychology from the UK Open University and works with children and young people on the autism spectrum.
